We bought this one when our daughter was 6 months old and had grown out of her Chicco carseat. This was the second or third convertible we bought to try with our vehicle and it worked. The first one was the Aplha Omega and it was so difficult to see around and bulky, the material was not soft.

I'd recommend purchasing the Roundabout 55 (this one) , it is a newer version with updated safety features and goes up to a longer height and more pounds . The material on this one is so much more soft and comfy compared to most of the convertible car seats out there, including the cheaper and older Roundabout model that is still being sold.

We own a 2002 Ford Explorer and it is more compact than the other ones we tried, you can really see way over this car seat ! I am 4'11, so I know how difficult it can be to see around things. It also fits in the Pontiac Vibe.
