My son in now almost eleven months old and has outgrown this seat so I thought I'd write a review.

We bought the travel system with one base and had to buy a separate base. The two bases were worth it! The installation of the base is very easy. It took less than five minutes. I did have to get on top of it to weight it down enough so it would level out. The base is very solid and well-constructed. I'd give the base a 5-star rating separately if I could. No complaints.

We bought the Fuego color. It is very nice, vibrant and washes well. Our son has had the normal messes in it and all came out fine. Still looks very nice. The mechanics of the seat are very nice too and it comes in and out of the base with very little effort. My only two small complaints is that the sun shade doesn't extend far out enough to be very effective when carrying around the seat and the carrying handle needs to be moved with both hands.
